Chang's Chocolate Spiders
This is one of my favourite childhood recipes - a great choice for tonight's procrastibake! :). I remember when I was in primary school a friend's Mum put red raspberry lollies on them and called them redback spiders!
Ingredients
100g (1 packet) of Chang's Fried Noodles
200g of Milk or Dark Cooking Chocolate
2 tablespoons of Crunchy Peanut Butter
Method
1. Break up the chocolate and put in a microwave safe bowl with the Peanut Butter.
2. Microwave on high for approximately 1 minute, stir and then repeat every 15 seconds (it's different for every chocolate/microwave, so trust what you know!)
3. When the chocolate has become a smooth consistency (there will be little bits in it from the peanut butter!) stir in the packet of Chang's Fried Noodles.
4. Make sure all the noodles are covered!
5. Place clumps of the mixture on a tray or in patty cakes.
6. Place in the fridge to set ! (Waiting is the hardest part!)
7. Enjoy!

Skye & Em's Rocky Road Slice
This is a delicious treat- a chocoholics dream! Skye and I decided one afternoon that instead of taking our dogs for a walk, we would walk them up to the shops to gather ingredients to make rocky road. We also threw in a few metaphors about life, but for now, here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
1x Packet of marshmallows (around the 250g size!- try flavoured ones if you are feeling adventurous!)
1 & a half blocks of cadbury's cooking chocolate (or any amount of good quality cooking chocolate!)
1 cup of shredded coconut (more if you like it!)
1 cup of chopped roasted peanuts (we roasted them ourselves, but a packet of chopped nuts from the supermarkets works well too!)
Optional: 1 cup of cornflakes- (this gives it an extra crunch! Even try ricebubles!)
Method:

Optional: 1 cup of cornflakes- (this gives it an extra crunch! Even try ricebubles!)
Method:
- In a flat tray, line the bottom with baking paper. Add marshmallows, cornflakes, coconut and peanuts.
- Melt chocolate (either using the stove top method or microwave- I always burn it in the microwave so I use the stove top method!)
- Mix chocolate in tray with all other ingredients!
- Place tray in microwave and heat for about 30 seconds
- Mix ingredients all together, making sure the marshmallows have melted.
- Press the mixture down with a wooden spoon so it's spread evenly.
- Place in the fridge to cool for about 1 hour (if you can wait that long!)
And enjoy!! Remember to lick the melted chocolate!!

Return
Greetings. I have returned to my love of blogging! I am quite disheartened though. I upset my secret santa.. and now he/she has not contacted me. It's not about the present- it's more the fact that I do not know who they are, and it's nearly been a month since Christmas and I do not know who they are. I DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE! So, someone from my group of friends at highschool is secretly plotting against me. A very encouraging thought to keep me asleep at night. And what's worse, is that I've pictured all of them in santa suits. With beards. And I can not pick who is mine.
In other news, I've found love. Seriously. I was in cloud nine for the hours following this venture. So, I plug San Churro @ Glebe on Glebe Point Rd, and a big thanks to Skye for sharing it with me. Will share the details and contact information in a later post.
You should also check out Regina Spektor's album "Songs", I've been living and breathing the song "Samson" - (N.B.- this version is slower and more 'acoustic' than the version off her latest album. And it's my favourite. I recently got into a disagreement with my boyfriend about which one was better. Without being too bias about his music taste, I can understand why he likes the newer version, as he is [dare i say it] a fan of *cough taylor swift cough*, and it is more 'pop'ish than her earlier stuff. Not that I can really make this judgment, but take a listen! Any Regina is better than none!)
I must leave you on this note, as it is now 12:24 AM, and I must try and maintain some sense of a sleeping pattern.
